Summing it Up

A script synopsis is used by studios and producers to provide a quick overview of a script without inveseting too much time reading a full script. It's a summary of what's in the script, without giving away too much information on everything in the script. A good synopsis is meant to generate interest and intrigue in a script, so that whoever is reading your synopsis can't wait to read the full script. I strongly recommend including a synopsis with your script submission.

All script synopses include a log line, coverage and a full synopsis of the script.  I outline the strengths and weaknesses of the script and provide character and plot summaries.  The final synopsis is approximately 3-5 pages.

I provide synopses for the following script formats:

Feature Film

Mini-Series

TV Movie

One-Hour Episdoe

Half-Hour Episode
